As far as I can tell from reviews and community commentary, these range from "2EZ4ME" to ragequittingly hard which for me at least is the sweet spot of a daily mode.

Elie’s first step into gaming was through Pokfoimon but they've taken the conterraneo next step in the horror genre. Any and every game that would keep you up at night is on their list to play - despite the fact that one of Elie’s biggest fears is being chased. 

Even though this will probably make the experience slightly more bearable, that’s not something to be praised in the grand scheme of things, as any game can be made better if you add your friends into the mix.

If you’re a fan of retro platformers, then this action-adventure game may still be worth checking out, but, unless you have a burning Phantom Abyss Gameplay desire to play, it’s hard to fully recommend

While never impenetrable, the frame rate suffers noticeably, and sometimes proves the difference between thrilling success and devastating failure, given the game’s emphasis on quick reactions. 

Is there in the later course a whip with speed thrust, or how is that explained? I don't want to shout Speedhack, but it sounds very strange.

Sad to say, From the Abyss is an extremely unremarkable game through-and-through. From the visual style and plot to the game mechanics, it's all been done before in some form or another. The good news in all of this is the game still offers a good time for fans of the genre.
